Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Mortgage Early Payoff handles information when you use the public mortgage calculator, browse this website, or contact support. The current public version does not offer accounts, paid plans, or a database-backed contact form.

Mortgage calculator inputs

The balance, interest rate, remaining term, recurring extra payment, and lump-sum figures you enter are calculated in your browser. The calculator does not upload those figures to our server, associate them with an account, or save them in a site database.

Your entries exist in the active page while you use the calculator and are cleared when the page state is reset or the visit ends. The site does not need your name, property address, lender, or loan account number to produce an estimate.

Information that may be processed

Website requests

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like other hosting and security providers, Cloudflare may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as an IP address, requested URL, browser or device characteristics, request time, and security or diagnostic events. This information is separate from the mortgage figures entered into the calculator.

Support email

If you email support, we receive the email address you use, the message content, and any attachment you choose to send. We use that information to understand and reply to the request, investigate product or security issues, and maintain a record of relevant corrections. Your email provider and the receiving email service also process the message under their own terms and privacy practices.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank details, passwords, full mortgage statements, loan account numbers, or other sensitive financial or identity information.

How information is used

Limited technical and support information may be used to:

• Deliver, secure, diagnose, and maintain the website
• Understand and correct calculation, content, or accessibility problems
• Respond to a message you voluntarily send
• Prevent abuse and comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell or rent personal information. The current public calculator is not an advertising lead form and does not use the figures you enter to market loans or financial products.

Cookies and analytics

The calculator does not use cookies or browser storage to save the mortgage figures in your scenario. The site shell currently uses a first-party PARAGLIDE_LOCALE cookie for language routing and TanStack Router session storage for scroll restoration; neither contains the balance, rate, term, or extra-payment values you enter. We do not currently use advertising or targeting cookies on the public V1 site. Cloudflare may use essential security technology when needed to protect or deliver the site. Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by providers necessary to operate the site, principally Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and operational logs, and the applicable email services when you contact support. We may also disclose limited information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the service or its users, investigate abuse, or respond to a valid legal request.

We do not disclose calculator inputs to those providers because the calculator does not send those inputs to the server.

Retention

Mortgage calculator inputs are not retained by the site. Technical logs are retained only according to operational needs and provider settings. Support correspondence may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, track a correction or security issue, and meet legitimate recordkeeping or legal needs. You may ask us to delete support correspondence, subject to technical, security, and legal limitations.

Security and your choices

No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. We limit the information the calculator needs and keep loan inputs out of the server-side data flow. You can further reduce risk by using example numbers when reporting a problem and by not sharing sensitive records over email.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information contained in support correspondence, use the Contact page. We may need enough context to locate the relevant message and verify the request.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the site begins using materially different data practices, such as accounts, payments, server-side saved scenarios, a contact form, or new analytics technology. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
